Full Service Facility

*Processing times begin the day we receive your application at a passport agency or center, not the day you mail your application or apply.

Travel Documents for U.S. Citizens (Apply for one or both, it’s your choice)

U.S. PASSPORT BOOK

Valid for international travel by air, land and sea.

Passport Book Validity:
- 10 years for adults
- 5 years for minors

Cost for first time applicants
- $130.00 (adults age 16 yrs and older)
- $100.00 (minors under age 16)


U.S. PASSPORT CARD

Not for travel by air.
Valid for land and sea Crossings between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean only.

Passport Card Validity:
- 10 years for adults
- 5 years for minors

Cost for first time applicants
- $30.00 (adults age 16 years and older)
- $15.00 (minors under age 16)


Fees payable to U.S. Department of State
•  Passport Book and/or Passport Card fees.
•  Expedite fee $60.00 (if needed).
•  Overnight Delivery $19.53 (optional).

Form of payment:
•  Check (personal, certified, cashiers, travelers – NO temporary checks accepted) .
•  Money Order (US Postal, International, currency exchange and bank drafts).

Fees payable to City of West Miami
•  Execution fee $35.00.
•  Passport Photo $17.00 (available on-site).
•  Photocopy service available (15 cents per copy).

Form of payment:
•  Credit or Debit Card.

 

 

Important Information:

• All first time applicants must apply in person at a Passport Agency,
Acceptance Facility, U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
• When applying for any U.S. Passport for minor children, the child must be present.
